Ryan showed up on time and was very responsive to all my texts and calls. He obviously loves his job and is very hood at it too. The report was very comprehensive and very thorough. Hire this guy whenever you need an inspection done, he knows what he's doing!

We just sold our family home in New Hampshire and didn’t expect to be purchasing a home in Connecticut, and certainly not within a week of selling the other house. But this gave us the opportunity to directly, compare the polar opposite ends of what it means to have a good home inspector inspect the property. Ryan Is the gold standard. He inspected the house that we purchased. He is thorough And highly knowledgeable. He took the time during the standard residential inspection for which we hired him to point out a few concerns or things that we might want to prioritize fixing and within a few hours, I had a comprehensive report, suggestions, and a promise that he would come back and inspect the attic which was not accessible to him at the time of the original inspection. All of this while he was keeping a very packed schedule of inspections each day. Ryan is a professional inspector not an alarmist. I wish I could say the same about the person who inspected my house, whose alarmist attitude did nothing, but rile everyone on both sides of the transaction unnecessarily. We hired Ryan to tell us what potential major and also minor concerns we should have and be aware of for a home that’s over 50 years old. We learned that we were purchasing a house with good bones with few minor hiccups consistent with the age of the house. He professionally and pleasantly and confidently presented the results of his inspection, and instead of being terrifyingly worried over made up issues, we, as the buyers felt confident to go on and complete the purchase. As a military family, we have bought and sold houses several times. Ryan at Anchor is the kind of inspector that I want to see whether I am selling or purchasing. Honest, knowledgeable and straightforward. And calm. In this case, I was the buyer, and I wasn’t looking for trouble. I wanted to know that I was purchasing a solid house. I am confident that if there was a major problem, Ryan would have told me. Since there was not, Ryan’s thorough inspection and report provided us the peace of mind, that any home buyer (and home seller ) want from a home inspection.
